Birmingham City University has two sports grounds, located a short distance from the tic, near the Perry Barr campus. One is conveniently situated behind the Coppice halls of residence and offers football and tennis facilities.

However, the main sporting venue is five minutes away from the Perry Barr campus at Moor Lane. Facilities include seven football pitches, two rugby pitches and an all weather pitch. Changing facilities, indoor sports and a large bar are housed within the new £4.5 million ‘Pavillion’.

Birmingham City University competes in the British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) and all fixtures are played on Wednesday afternoons against other Universities within the West Midlands Division. Last season, the Men’s Rugby and Basketball teams won their respective leagues.
