Current tic Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
The tic has been actively involved with Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP)and it's predecessor, the Teaching Company Scheme (TCS) as
a successful mechanism for technology transfer since the early
1980’s. In total, the tic has participated in over 100 schemes.
In January 2000 the tic received the award for the 'Best TCS Programme'
in the UK for the scheme which it had operated with the Motor Industry
Research Association (MIRA).
