:: Woodland Leisure Ltd
Woodland Leisure Limited, based in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, was a start-up enterprise specialising in the design and manufacture of children's outdoor play equipment and toys in wood.
Prior to launch,Woodland Leisure owners, Bill Gould and Colin Blakeway contacted the Technology Innovation Centre with a comprehensive brief. They wanted to brand their new venture as a highly professional organisation, offering quality products made from environmentally friendly raw materials. The range is constructed from timber which is sourced entirely from sustainable farmed woodland.
Use of mass-production methods, enables the Woodland Leisure range of swings, slides, climbing frames and related equipment to be very competitively priced. This gives it a significant selling advantage, and ensures the company can offer a strong market proposition.
Products are initially targeted at specialist toy retailers, whilst further opportunities would be explored later in the wider leisure industry, such as family restaurants, pubs, holiday and adventure centres, motorway service stations and with local education authorities. |
